Maverick Restaurant in Lander

Great place for breakfast. Wide variety of items on their menu. Their biscuits and gravy is amazing...actually, I’ve yet to have a bad meal here. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because the waitress I always seemed to get was..for lack of a better phrase..a grumpy...well, you can fill in the blank. To this day I still don’t know if I did something to her or not...even with that being said, I always have her a 20% or more tip

Rustic decor, decent menu in the restaurant, good soup and salad bar. Motel rooms are older, not the greatest. Never been in the bar

A routine stop as I pass through Lander. Waitresses are friendly and breakfast is always good. This last trip I ate at lunch time twice and quality was not near as what I have seen in the past. Hopefully this was a one time issue and will update my review the next time I am up in Lander.

We just ate lunch there and had a great cheese burger. We will be going back again.

Food as always great, service is as good, atmosphere is great. We love breakfasts at the Maverick....

Food took over a hour and the food was under cooked

Slow service,,b+ on the food.. not enough staff.. things hanging in the room needed dusting. Should be a prize for eating their pancakes, they are huge.

Need to find a new cook. Green chili is suppose to be green not white and it's not suppose to taste like flour. The quality of the food was very poor. The wait staff is very nice.

Looks looks like a bunkhouse bedroom. But was clean, not too quit after dark, bar next door. Found a cheaper place to stay. The motels/hotels in Lander are pretty pricey. The one we stayed at was much cheaper and had larger rooms, has handicap rooms and a complimentary breakfast.

So went to get a chefs salad and I got lettuce tomato and cheese and a little bit of meat 3 rd time iv order a chefs salad for take out and they haven’t put on all the fixings very disappointed! Sad to cause this was my go to restaurant here in town

The waitress, Kristi, went above and beyond to accommodate and serve our large family. She is funny, bright, and personable.

Large breakfast at good price, interesting decor, old west photos and wanted posters. Food was good too.

Not like it used to be. Breakfast was awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were small , and filthy. They remodeled and put in wood floors.....which have not been been cleaned in who knows how long. Judging from the 2 inches of dust underneath the bed. Not to mention my black yuck on my feet. Won’t be staying again.

You get 12oz beers for 16oz beer prices. You're not even told it is a 12oz beer but you can tell by the size compared to the other patrons. My first time here it was okay. The beat part was the company but the staff was mediocre. Nothing special here, but a decent place to get a cheap(ish) beer.

Staff was very kind even though quite busy..order was perfect, tasted wonderful, price was very reasonable and the old west ambience just added to the enjoyment.

Ate lunch at the restaurant. Soup and salad bar. Salad was fresh and they had a good selection of items to put on top of or on the side. Soup was very good as well!

We bought take-out there today and were surprised by the fact, that we got a lot more food than we expected for the price.

Super fun. Kinda loud but didn't bother me. Saturday night is karaoke night must check it out.

Service was ok at best and that's really stretching it. Food was bland. They ended up over charging for are meal by a few dollars and charged us for 2 cups of coffee when we only had one. And we sat there for 20 minutes waiting on a coffee refill but never seen the waitress. Not the first time we had this kind of service there and after this time we probably won't be back. Try at your own risk but with so many others places to eat in Lander I wouldn't recommend it.

Was a awful experience!! Usually we have a nice time thus time the waitress sucked it was the cook that gave us the menus & our food was forever coming out & waitress never came back until we were done & brought out the pancakes remembered why we stopped going to this place not recommended!

Best place in Lander to eat. Reasonable prices and wonderful food and you never go away hungry. Waitresses are very friendly and excellent customer service. ❣❣

A nice, Fun, friendly atmosphere.. A local watering hole that has a Cheer's type of feel as every one knows every one..

So much like a lot cabin ....lots of wood

It feels like there are holes in the floor under the carpet, no housekeeping at all, not even a vacuum, shower rod fell on me as I finished the shower n pulled curtain back (this happened even after the owner tried to fix it), water drains very slowly, I had to Lysol and dust it, no in room coffee, the hot water faucet didn't work except with a screwdriver, it smells musty. Do yourself a favor and put up a tent. You'll save about $100.00 per night and not have to breathe mold. Benefits...shelter and a heater. Tub allows room to shave your legs. Pretty quilt on the bed.

Good food. Never had anything I didn't like. Service is lacking because of short staff. They are good, just stretched thin.

One of my favorite greasy spoons. A place where the waitress will remember your name and what you like to order. I always stop in at least once usually twice overtime I come through Lander.

Great atmosphere at the bar. Very friendly staff and patrons. There was a live band playing the night we were there and they were pretty good. We'll had a good time.

My spinach, mushrooms, feta omelette was delicious. Great portions. My friends biscuits and gravy was served warm. The white gravy was perfect, no salty taste. The portions for the price is the best deal in Lander.

Great food and fun atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights. There is usually a live band on Friday nights and Karaoke on Saturday nights.

I wish they'd have more than one server on some shifts, but service is good, and so is the food.

Good food breakfast is the best also the chicken fried steak. Service was awesome very attentive. We never had an empty cup.

Nice clean restaurant, friendly staff.
